Third clutch

My ambilobe female laid her third clutch today from a single mating in December. I was assuming her clutches would get smaller, since the first was 38, and the second was 29. But she laid 43 today! Should I assume these are a retained clutch? Or could they possibly be infertile? How long will it be before I can tell? The 67 from the first 2 clutches look beautiful, and they were laid in January and April. 110 eggs.... That's a LOT!!!

I would incubate them to see.

if thye are fertile, you get lots of babies.

if thye arent fertile, they will start to collapse and mold over in a few weeks.

but until you see mold/collapsiing.. dont toss!

chams can have a 3rd retained clutch.
