Thinks my fingers are food

My guy keeps trying to shoot for my fingers whenever I put my hand in the cage. I had been handfeeding him to help him get accustomed to me. Today he just reeled himself all the way in and bit my finger :D Funny as that was I'm still afraid he could hurt himself.

I don't pull away once he's stuck on me cos i don't wanna hurt him... but I don't really know what to do in this situation. I try to get out the way before he shoots but sometimes he just comes out of nowhere and other times I don't notice he's aiming for a finger rather than the food I'm holding.

Any advice?

Make sure that your have all your calcium with d3 and without d3 and multivitamins right because thats most likely why he's missing. But he could also think that your finger is food. Put the cricket or roaches or whatever your feeding right in front of him so he doesn't hit your hand, your going to have to teach him.
Also feed him more at a time he could be really hunger and want more food. Hope this helps :D
