Wasnt 25 bucksI recommend you purchase some live plants, more vines, ditch the fake plants, get a t5 fixture, or misting system. I know that totals more than $100, just my recommendations though, get what you can afford. The pet stores don’t tell you that a $25 veiled is gonna require a few hundred dollars worth of enclosure.
Look into bioactive enclosures. I haven’t cleaned mine in over a year, just trimmed all the plants every couple weeks. If you spent $500 and all you got was a large zoo med enclosure and what’s in the picture, you got ripped off.Wasnt 25 bucksmore like $110. Spent well over 500 already. Ill get a t5 when i upgrade him but a misting system sounds like a good idea. The only issue i have with live plants is cleaning waste off them. I would love to have a giant ficus but i cant just pull it out wash it and put it back in.

Let the diy beginnnnnn!!!Made this to fit my dragonstrand enclosure with about 2 feet of depth space for my substrate. Stapled the pond liner. Has a drainage hole at the bottom. Going to put a tiny submersible pump in the drainage pan and have it pump the water out the window and to my plants outside.
He has awesome kits but he doesnt ship here. I love his tree bags but theyre just grow bags. Ill build a box for sure. Ill use plywood to make it look presentable too!Look at thebiodude.com, he has a liner system for doing bioactive in those enclosures.
Do i need a drainage layer like a frog setup or is it ok.Go for it!
Sure will.hows this grow light?Update us on how it goes. I always love seeing people get into the bio scene.
