They didn't make it

Well, none of the babies made it:( I really don't know what hapened to them. This clutch seemed to be doing great. The eggs shrunk but they never hatched. After almost a week, they started to get harder. I opened them and all but 2 were dead. The other two died shortly after. Will see what happens with the other two clutches.

Hi Josh,

I've been so busy and missed this...
but I got a friend that told me about this and had to get on the forums right away.

I don't know what to say.
I had all my fingers crossed and toes too.
yet while I am a little sad, I feel so much worse for you.
I know stuff happens at times, but this is not fair.

above all, I am so sorry to hear this, and hope you have better luck with the next two clutches...totaly not for my sake, but for yours. ;)

Josh, Michelle I am so sorry to hear about the eggs. I know how much the 2 of you were looking forward to the babies. Hopefully I will have babies to send you sometime soon.

Oh my. This was unexpected. I'm very sorry to hear this. Did you happen to document incubation temperatures and changes throughout the duration of the incubation? How about RH? I understand if you didn't note it down every time you checked, but it may be worth it next time.

Again, we're very sorry to hear about this loss. It's obvious that some of the roads we've decided to take are not without their speed bumps. We will get there though, one way or another.

Indeed, there are bumps, but isn't that part of the excitement? No I didn't monitor the changes, but they shouldn't have been much. We'll get 'em.

Laurie,

Would be great to see yours hatch and survive and would love to get one from you, we still have the others that we showed you when you were over that look good as of now. They are two separate clutches with the one being unrelated to Jet and the two that we have. Hopefully at least one of these clutches will hatch, I really want my little babies.... After these clutches we may not have any....and if we do it won't be for a while.. remember the trio is going to LueVelvet and hopefully sometime in the future after the females get some rest, he will be able to produce some nice offspring too..

Michelle

Thanks Harry for your kind words and thoughts, it is really hard for me to lose these little guys especially after watching the eggs grow for so long and then being so close to having them hatch out. The next two clutches are still developing and I hope that they will do well and hatch out, again you are right there to get a few of them when they do.. we will keep you informed of the progress and again keep our fingers crossed..

Thanks
Michelle
