Cool, as long as y'all think it'll be ok I'm ok with it. I did notice today that the dead skin was a little brown, but I think it may have been from some of the dirt on the leaves he was crawling around in. I'll try the neosporin as well tomorrow in case I rubbed her the wrong way today.

Honestly looks like shed to me. Nothing to worry about IMHO!
If she will let you, you could try to get a damp Q-Tip and gently get it off, i know my veiled would never let me do that in 293819837109238 years, but its ok. If anything just give her a warm shower, it should help!

As long as retained shed is not around a limb (which includes the tail) it's not dangerous. I've had mine wearing little white caps for months waiting for the next shed.
