Thermal burn

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and was wondering if any one could help me.
I have noticed a small grey strip on my chameleon's back.
I think it is a thermal burn from where he has managed to get too close to his heat lamp.
I have rectified the heat lamp situation but was wondering if there is anything I can do about the burn and if the grey patch disappear.
He is eating and drinking well and sheds without any problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Post a picture if you can. Silver Sufadiazine cream works good for burns.
