Well Lilly is lovely lol at her stubbornness! Is she friendly? I hope my girl will like me some day! She's not aggressive but very very shy! Still early days for me.

Shes pretty good most days. Shes alot better right after being fed.

When she was carrying eggs she wanted nothing to do with me.

try handfeeding, horns and silks is how i bribe all my reptiles.

Thanks for the tips! I try hand feeding nearly every day but she will only do it once in a while (when she's really hungry I guess) I wish I could get horn worms but I'm in the uk

I'll just keep trying, she's not hiding as much as she used to. I think she must have been about 6-7 months when I got her so I assume it will take her as long as that to get used to a new home.

Lily hand fed 2 days after i got her. But she will only do it with silks and horns.

I try it with the silks a d she just looks at them longingly haha! After about 20 minutes your arm gets sore then as soon as I put them in the cup and hold it out she gobbles them straight up! She likes to toy with me

They do it on purpose. I swear.

Try getting some long feeder tongs.

We do use tongs. She enjoys locusts from the tongs. Free range the crickets on the branches and cup feed the silks (mainly because she won't eat anything else from the cup anymore) try to get the roaches un her mouth as soon as possible since they just run down and hide!

I'm sure she does it on purpose too! Feeding time would be dull if it went according to plan

no worries! Since im the OP, its allowed. haha.

I only free range silks and horns. everything else gets cup fed. But i hold the cup sometimes for my veileds.

my panther and my hoehnelli wont eat that way at all.

See she used to cup feed anything! But changed her mind for some reason. I keep on cup feeding the silks to try and have some direct interaction at feeding time so hopefully she will associate me with good things

They are finicky stubborn creatures.

Its a good idea to keep some interaction going with them.

none of my chams get fed daily, so i will often go in their room and jsut open their cages and pull out dead leaves, or something like that so they stay used to me being in there.

My famiyl grew fast, then shrunk.. then will grow again. .it takes time, but they are so addicting, i cant help myself.
