I've been searching for a good feature plant that offered great coverage and was pleasing to look at. I go plant shopping at least once a week because I'm addicted but still wasn't finding anything. Now picture me at the grocery store, picking up some necessities for work, when I stumble upon this beauty!
So of course I bring her home. Calatheas have always been my favorite, long before chameleon keeping, so this setosa was a perfect match! $30 at the grocery store, it was a highway robbery! Here she is next to me so you can really grasp her size.
I will update as soon as she's in Doug's house, that's a lot of leaves to wash and soil to rinse out.
