The pacific crest trail..

Just wondering if any one has ever heard of this trail, Or has ever wanted to attempt it. I use to work at a gas station years ago right off the trail and we use to get tons of hikers. I believe one day I will attempt this 2600 mile trek, Im sure it would be worth it to see so much beauty..http://www.pcta.org/about_trail/overview.asp

I have mountain biked that trail from Lake Silverwood to Big Bear. There are some tuff grades and a lot of switch backs. Beautiful ride though.

I was reading that some will tackle the 2600 mile trek in one season....Thats alot of hiking and pedaling! I imaging as you reach northern California the secenery gets a whole lot better too.
