Keepers/People need to practice responsible plant and reptile keeping to prevent this situation from happening in the first place. Then their invasive plants and animals would not be in the situation of being eradicated. A simple answer to this problem.

Im pretty sure if veileds eat baby lizards sometimes I see no reason why they wouldn't eat them

Multiple species of chameleons hunt and eat small lizards and gecko's. I wrote a CIN article about the topic a long time ago.
