The last few days have been a disaster!

My mother is moving out of state in two weeks and she's always been only a ten minute drive away most my life!
I find out my grandfather was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer.
My dog, zombie, tries to commit suicide by jumping out of the window of my car, going forty miles an hour, in the middle of traffic!
Leia (our female Jackson's) somehow got ahold of Hans (our male) roach, which is entirely tooooo big for her and nearly choked to death. So I had to force her mouth open and pull it out while she's biting me every chance she gets!
John gets me a kitten to make me feel better (and because I have been nagging him and begging him) and the poor baby has an URI!!!!!
Bemis is doing so much better, but he's stronger so he fights me every time I try to give him meds or water, which makes it nearly impossible.
I am ready to pull my hair out.
AHHHHHH!

This is Whisky. I named her after the mood I'm in.

Awwwww. Whiskey looks like a real sweet kitty. Sorry to hear about the recent run of rotten luck. When we got our first cat (male orange tabby named Tobias), he had a real bad URI and was really underweight. We got him from a local SPCA. We ended up spending like $800 to get him healthy and in the long run, it was worth every penny. He is the most loving, sweet cat ever. Everyone that meets him wants to take him home. =) I bet Whiskey will be super stoked that you will take care of her, and I'm sure she'll remember it for a long time.

She's an angel and I think we got it soon enough to where she'll be just fine.

Goodness that is adorable! The kitten could care less lol

I'm sorry about all the rotten luck, I know how those waves of it feel. And what is it about suicidal dogs? I have a puppy right now that has come close on a number of occasions in the last 5 or so weeks.

She literally jumped right into traffic!!!! Horrifying.

I can imagine! Was she fine in the end? (I should have asked that first!) I once had a friend's westie leap onto my lap from the back seat and try to keep going right out the window as I was making a left turn. I don't know how I managed to catch him in mid-air with one arm while turning with the other lol. But I felt my heart in the back of my throat!

My dog is set on dying from an intestinal obstruction, and had surgery twice in 3-4 weeks. And has been induced to vomit another 4 occasions (thank goodness for hydrogen peroxide, saves us a $200 emergency vet bill to induce vomiting!) It's terrible keeping everything out of his reach. I cannot wait for him to outgrow this!

Those pics of your kitten and your cham are seriously cute! Thanks for sharing and I really hope your week gets better :)

Now really enough should be enough. You have been put through a wringer, you really deserve a break - and I am not talking McDonalds. Hope all is better.

Yes, how is the dog? That is a horrifying story.

Hell comes in waves, as noted. Ride out the wave and you'll get a period of peace...it really does happen that way.

ummm what is Bemis doing to Whiskey?

Zombie is fine.
Not even one scratch.
She's an adrenaline junkie.

John thinks Bemis was trying to make Catmeleon babies, I like to say he was hugging her.
