The Gray Ghost

Nice, i see some colors coming through, is it always like this?

He has been like this for about 6 months now. He was actually one of my most colorfully holdbacks from the previous year. His father whent through the same awkward adolescent stage where he lost all his pigment for about 8 months. But when it finally came back it was even better and he was one of my best breeders. Some amazing clutches!

I've had 2 male panthers do close to the same thing; one started @ ~11 months old and lasted ~4 months, the other was younger and started losing color @~7 months old and lasted ~4-5 months. Both lizards looked very promising before tuning dull and both became very nice adults and still are today. So, I'm wondering where you got your male?
