soo..i havent been to the circus since i was probably 7..and as a surprise lastnight, my boyfriend took me not only out to eat, but to the circus as well! and i had no idea! i felt like a little kid again <3 heres a few pictures, wish i could have taken more, but because it was a surprise, i only had my phone camera on me and it takes horrible pictures in low light but thats okay.

haha no, i was too scared and they were charging 10$ basically for the elephant to turn around..wasnt worth it -.-

i bet some of them could easily get mean, but the trainers seemed nice..it was funny, i could hear the lady trainer talking to the elephant under her voice "come on eloise, just a few more steps, stop girl" stuff like that.

but the tigers..now they WERE tortured. their trainer needed smacked, he was dancing around like a moron as every tiger was trying to claw him to bits, but he just play faught with them to make it not a big deal..but the cats were pissed :/

It's sad how they can put on their "shows" but when you see them load them up in their trucks and shackle them up into small cages that they can't even turn around, and beaten with electric prods and hooks. We have our Circus in our school gym since it's a larger school and the only place we can have it and it gives our school more money etc. During the entire shows you see them whipping the elephants and stabbing them in their legs. Their skin is just like humans skins. It's super sensitive, imagine being beaten and stabbed constantly just to do a trick. They are endangered, they should be out in the wild or in captivity to expand their populations.. Not a circus.

I just went to cirque du soleil in san jose, cali, it was amazing. I took my girlfriend there as a surprise for her birthday. I saw some mind boggling stuff!

I wish I could have ridden an elephant though!
