The BIG Dripper

Hi! So I just back from work and I found another package in my room. I thought I'd share a couple pictures with you guys of what came in today. It feels like Christmas all over again because everyday something comes in and I don't know what it is. By this time next week, I'm hoping to have my little guy

Well Merry Christmas! I love the big and little drippers but I have found one negative thing about them. You either need to put a hole in the screen and put the tube through, or not use the tube at all and raise the dripper a few inches up(you can set it on the lid) and just let the spout drip down. The reason I say this is sometimes the water will pool on the top of the screen if you just lay the tube.. If you are not around to stop this you will get a flood! What kind of chameleon are you getting?

Ohh man, thanks for the heads up! I was going to put a hole through my cage but now I'm not sure about it. I'm getting a male baby veiled chameleon as my first chameleon. Well it's between that or a medium veiled cham. It's my first so I want to make sure I'm ready.

I have the little dripper and I put a hole in my screen and it works FANTASTIC the hole it so small nothing will escape I would say do the hole and run the tube down into the cage I catch my little Panther all the time drinking from it. Plus it gives them the option to drink from the tube or from the leaves the drops are hitting. PUT IT IN THE HOLE haha. I have to post some pictures of my set up I will do that tomorrow actually. Because right now his light are off and the little guy is passed out. I dont wanna wake him. Ill be sure to add pictures of the drip system as well and how small the hole actually is. So keep an eye out for my post !

i use the big dripper aswell its so handy u can turn down the speed if you have to go away for a while.make a hole is the best option.my lad will stand just under the tube and catch the drops on his tongue. the easiest way to make the hole is just force a screwdriver through the hole in the screen and widen it out for a tight fit for your tube.i actually have a pic up on a thread about glass terraniums u can just see the tip of the tube sticking down over my chams head.
