Came home from work and discovered this in my room! i was able to save all my crickets (around 60-80) but these fallen soldiers.

I really despise ants. I've been spraying the perimeter of my house and have seen an immediate decrease in their presence. I feel your pain... here:

i know i used one of those giant cans of raid ant killer.outside the house and inside my room. hopefully i dont die tonight from all the fumes. lol

Pepper, tumeric, cinnamon powder, fabric softener (bounce, downy, etc) can be used to prevent them from attacking.

Teflon roach stopper can also be used (wipe the outside of your cricket keeper. The ants will not be able to climb that area).

you can use ant bait or a mixture 50 50 of Borax and sugar (brown is better).
They will start eating borax and die hopefully AFTER offering some to their queen .

damn ants... If you can put the bin or bowl into a bin of water it'll keep the ants away

That was so graphic....hehe, I know what you mean though i've been breeding crix for 5 months now, as soon as it got warm again, blam! Sux.
