Terrarium advice!

Hello!

I am joining the forums because I have adopted the sweetest Ambilobe (juvenile) male panther! He is my first male panther and I’m so excited! I’ve officially had him for two days and I love him already! However, I am looking to upgrade his terrarium — his current one is only temporary because COVID messed with my order. he is currently in a small/tall exo terra because it is what I had on hand. Again — I am looking to get him out of that cage like TOMORROW if possible. I want him to get adjusted fully, even though he is already doing great! :)

I was originally going to get a large reptibreeze but with the weather in my city, an all screened cage would not be practical for regulation. I’ve heard some people insulating their reptibreezes on their own and wanted to know if anyone has done that and recommends it? Or what other terrariums he will be able to grow into that also have a screened front but have enough insulation to keep him warm amidst the ever changing weather?

thanks again for your recommendations, I hope I explained it well enough!

Congrats on the new cham. Sounds like it would be worthwhile for you get have your husbandry reviewed by answering these questions: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/

To answer your humidity question, this video goes over some ways to increase humidity levels in a screen enclosure:

The Dragon Strand Hybrid enclosure might be a good option to you since it is half solid, half screen: https://dragonstrand.com/product/tall-hybrid-chameleon-cage-system/

If you do decide to go with a Retpibreeze, definitely go for the XL for a male panther.
