terramycin

How do you apply terramycin? My cham has an eye infection and someone recommended that to me, but when I tried to apply it, it was just a big glob and I couldn't get it smoothed out in a thin layer. The gel was really thick. Any suggestions??

I put a small amount on the end of a CLEAN q-tip and apply to the eye.

Terramycin can be thick and blobby. If you hold the tube in your hand for a while to warm it up and then apply with a q-tip to the eye it goes on easier.
