Temporary silk worm chow

Last week we picked up some silk worms, and a lb of silk worm chow. I never expected them to eat so much. I have ordered more silk worm food, but it will be probably Wednesday before it gets here. Is there anything that I can feed them to keep them alive til then?

you could use lettuce or carrots but they wont go long on it so just hope they dont starve i have a small mulberry plant i always use as backup up if you buy a BIG one youll never have to buy stinky ugly chow again when they feed on leaves they smell SO MUCH MORE FRESH!!!!!!

mulberry leaves. but you might get lucky with collard greens or romaine or something just to keep them alive!!

where did you get the mulberry tree. Can you clone them do you know if so how?

i got it from this small plant place i dont know where at exactly it was there only one they had i call tons of places none had them not even lowes or home depot i do believe you can clone them pretty easily but with the right tools i know how to clone but dont have a certain spray you need to put on the cut

They will eat dandelion greens particularly.
