Temporary Cage Question

So for Thanksgiving I plan on being out of town for four days and I don't have someone that I can guarantee take care of my carpet chameleon correctly. The car ride will be about 12 hours. Is it possible to bring my chameleon with me? If so what should I use for the temporary cage?

I would not suggest it. Pay someone if you need to to shadow you and take notes on exactly what you do. It's a short enough time to where they can follow a routine and call you if something weird is happening. 12 hours will cause them a TON of stress, not to mention if that's only one way. If you insist on doing it however, I use a small ventilated cage I think it's 30" tall... Maybe reptibreeze? Anything around that will work. I also have permanently glued dowels so there is no chance of slipping over a bump.

Keep the chameleon boxed will you are traveling. Once at your destination set up a temporary cage in a quiet area.
