While it's more normal for babies to make mistakes climbing, it's not really normal for chameleons to fall. Lead the blog that Supergirl linked you to and see if your set-up matches what it recommends. And if you have any additional questions feel free to ask :)

90-100 degrees is too hot for a 2 month old Veiled... Should be in the low 80's while he's that young. and overnight temps should drop to the 70's. You should check out Jannb's blog.. has great information for new chameleon keepers. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/jannb/325-info-new-keepers-young-veiled-panther-chameleons.html

alot of noobies seem to be getting bad info on baby veileds i literally just left another post for a guy doing the same thing. 82 should be your hottest temp. your chameleon could be getting sick from 100degrees temps and falling how many watts is your heat lamp? if it should not be more than 60w at the most. it bothers me that petshops get away with selling these priceless little animals with out letting people know what they are in for and have to do to keep a chameleon healthyl mortthelizzard im not dirrecting this towards you just by getting on chameleonforums you have done Good. i almost bought a baby veiled before from a petshop and they said that they drink from a water bowl long story short i didnt get the chameleon or ever go back to that store.

yes pet shops are annoying this lady said they did drink out of water dishes then i read my book on chameleons and the truth came out i have to mist him

the moral of the story read books don't take advice from pet shop people

hey! now i have a lake :D
