Temperatures

hi everyone abit confused by what temperature both ambient and basking is meant to be for my 8-9moth female veiled. Also we’re is the thermometer and thermostat probe meant to be positioned for best results? Cheers everyone.

From the care sheet.
"Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 85F (29C)
Adult males: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 90-95F (32-35C)
Adult females: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 85F (29C)
I use two probes and thermostats/hygrometers in my cages. One is at the level of the highest basking branch and the other just above the bottom third of the cage in the plants. This helps me measure the greatest range of temps and humidity.

Why have you got to thermostat probes in your tank? Have you got two heat bulbs?

I only have one heat bulb per cage but I want to monitor the high and the low in my screen cages as well as the different levels of humidity. Oh sorry they aren't thermostat probes they are the thermometer/hygrometer probes. I miss typed.

I thought that’s what you meant but wasn’t sure and that makes sense and is a good idea in all fairness mate.
