hi I have got a chameleon and he wants to come out of his tank all the time and sit on my window looking out i just want to know if that is ok i have not had a charmeleon before I was told that they just stay in the tank they dont like to come out

just to help you a little, my cham decides when he wants to come out and see whats going on so if that is the only thing he is doing then he should be ok.

But you will get a much more detailed answer from the experts on here if you follow the posting guidelines, found on this forum. They basically tell you to list your exact specs of your cham and the vivarium set up. When you say tank do you mean an all glass tank? if so it may be that hes trying to get out of there because it is too hot/humid.

First of all, when you ask for help on here, you need to give us all the information. Species, size, age, tank, lights, temps, etc. Otherwise we can't help you. My first guess, w/o knowing anything else, is the temps might be too hot. What are they? I do have a full grown male veiled who comes out when he wants to and loves to sit on top his cage, i have a huge stick on it, and he sits there all day and looks out the window. He has the largest cage in the house and he still wants out. I even have to adjust his lights cause he stays there so long and his cage is 4 x 3 x 6. Talk about spoiled!!!
