t5 vs Sansi for Plant Lights?

Been going thru the archives trying to compare these 2.
Not being a lighting tech person, IDK how to compare say, the 6500 Degree K full spectrum lamp of the t5 with the specs of the Sansi 70W full Spectrum plant light, or if that's even relevant.

They seem to be somewhat comparable in price—$72.50 Sunblaster T5 vs. S60 Sansi, but are they equivalent?
For a 24" x 48" enclosure top, I figure I'll need 2 48" T5s.

Will 2 Sansis do the same job as 2 48" T5s?

Other factors to consider:
50K hrs. Sansi life, 5 yr. warranty
10K hrs. T5 life, 1 yr. warranty

Sorry, thought it was evident from my mention of comparing the 65K full-Spectrum in the OP that I was asking about PLANT lights. UVB is covered.
I've edited the thread title. :)

The 6500 kind of refers to color, cool white, warm white etc. Daylight is around 6500k.
There is another scale , lumens I believe, par in aquariums, This has to do with how much light is being out put. This is not usually listed, as it changes over time like the UVB.

I have not used these specific brands, but I do use the equivalents.

Fluorescent T5 at best is only going to penetrate about 24 inches , with enough to grow plants that is.
LED can be configured different and spread out or cluster, they also penetrate about 30% deeper.

These are some of the ones I use

I am really starting to like them. They penetrate very well. I have the in my Beardies enclosure, and at 18 to 24 inches they are growing high light out door plants.

the difference between the LED and the full spectrum T5 is the LED will go down further in the cage than the full spectrum T5 light will. So if you have thick vegetation inside the cage the LED is the best option for you if you’re trying to get The bottom canopy of the cage. Personally I like the sansi led lights I own three on my cages and since adding them my plants have been growing a lot thicker and faster.

These are the two type I own, I personally think one should be enough

Just one of the square pads for a double-wide (48" x 24") enclosure? OK
I suppose I could start there and get more if needed.

I did not know that there was a plant light version of that. The listing I saw referred to it as a garage light. Something else to consider.

I use the Sansi 70w and have no complaints. I have had some plants not do so well/die, but I believe it’s because they were too shaded and/or overwatered. I have one on top of each of my 2x2x4’ enclosures and they’ve been keeping a poor hibiscus clinging to life (cham keeps eating all the leaves off it).
