T5 Hood..is 4x bulbs Overkill?

Shopping around before I make some orders....I like the LED feature of this light but it has 4 bulbs on it. Granted...you can just turn 2 on at a time.

I can't seem to find dual fixtures with the LED on them, is this cheap and easy to addon as a DIY?

I'm thinking the extra 2 sockets can have an extra UVB + 6500K bulb that are on from 11-2 or something for an 'afternoon' boost of UVB?

Comments, alternatives, suggestions?

It would work great I'd see I they'd hook you up with all 4 6500k bulbs as those are best for plants the. You could get a couple of the Arcadia d3 6% t5 bulbs from light your reptiles and have a great lighting system the LEDs wouldn't suit you to much purpose unless you just wanted to check in on you inhabitants without disturbing them!

I plan on putting 4bulbs alternating UVB 6%, 6500,UVB 6%,6500. The UVB bulbs bit pricey so I haven't made the transition yet by the end of the month. I have used 4- 6500k HO T5s over 2 Large cages for the plants and visually lighting.Also brought up the ambient cage temp.

Thats the setup i have. Two arcadia 6% and two ultra sun 6500k. I dont have my cham yet, but i talked to todd at light your reptiles and thats what he suggested. Looks good too. Ive had my live plants in for a month with no dropped leaves
