Syzygium "australian lilly pilly"

Hi,

This is my first post so please forgive any stupid questions, but are Syzygium which are a australian cherry like fruit tree suitable for chameleons.

They look very similar to ficus. The fruits are edible and I feed them to a Australian Pig Nose Turtle (Carettochelys insculpta) which go absolutely mental for them.

Any information would be appreciated.

I have been able to research that some Syzygium are found naturally around some Chameleons.

What species of chameleon(s) do you keep?
What variety of Syzygium is it? One member of this family is cloves...is that it??

Thanks for the welcome, at the moment I will be getting veiled.

The fruit are safe for fruit eating turtles, and also they go down nice in jelly .
