I have been doing research on quads and I believe I have narrowed it down to 2 possibilities edema from crickets or over supplementation can anyone tell me what it is?

Edema is what it is, the cause is unknown. Likely oversupplementation. What is your supplement schedule? Where are you buying crickets? What's their gutload?

I don't have that repashy stuff, but I wouldn't use that for a montane on a regular basis. I would use just plain calcium for awhile along with frequent outside time for sun. What is your misting schedule like? I'd also stop giving Petco crickets, they are low quality and dirty. You should be gutloading with a variety of organic greens/veggies, some fruit, nuts, seeds, bee pollen, etc(look up a list on here).

I have a mist king system set to go off every hour and a half. For 1-2 minutes it keeps my humidity between 65 and 80 percent.

I would do longer durations rather than spreading it out like that, for example my parson's on a regular day gets a 45 minute misting in the cool mornings and then another 5 minute misting an hour before all lights off. IME chameleons benefits from nice long 'bath' times rather than short mistings spread out through the day.
