Hey! So I just got my female from a chain pet store. Her foot has been swollen for two days now. She still uses it. I’m thinking maybe a missing nail? She climbs on the mesh a lot!! Just wondering how I can help her!
Take her to a reptile vet... Looks like the nail has been ripped out. Swelling like this typically indicates infection, antibiotics may be needed so it does not cause major issues.
I would get it looked at by a good chameleon vet ASAP if you aren't going to return her to the store. It could be from a trauma or it could be an infection.
