Swollen eyes on vield. Please help.

My vield chameleon is about 10 months old and I've had him for about 7 months. Last month and this month his eye has gotten swollen. It only happens once a month and only at night. I figure something make be in his eye but what? Earlier the skin under his eye started to come out, now it's his whole eye that is swollen. Could it be over calcium? I give without D3 most feedings, with D3 twice a month and reptivite twice a month. Other wise he is very healthy and unusually nice for a vield chameleon.

He still has a tiny bit of shed left and most of it is on his casque so maybe it could be shed

If u can find a "fine" misting spray bottle ,cause U dont really want to aggravate him more on top of the existing problems, plus we need to be sure if that is the exact problem that we solving, since the cham's eye can be a very sensitive part to looking into the right treatment, maybe a vet check up is necessary since it happen not just once.

Try putting the chameleon in a warm shower for 45-60 mins and let the water soften the skin and allow the chameleon to really clean his eyes.

Yes I agree n also let the "fine" mist shower bounce off the wall n onto the cham if u are having a hard time to find a "fine" mist spray bottle.
