Swollen eye need help ASAP

Hey my aunt rescued a female Jackson's chameleon recently and it has a very swollen eye I will post pictures as soon as I can but from what I have seen I think it may be mbd. The eye looks like a blister and is somewhat see through. We put a warm towel on the eye and gently tried to open it. When we did that a yellowey clear liquid squirted out. We didn't want to stress her so we put her back for now. Any help is appreciated

Judging by the pus coming out id have to say eye infection if a shower dosent help drastically quickly then vet!
I woukdnt suspect mbd due to metabolic bone disease has nothing to do with eyes. Id think vit. A defficancy or overdose.... More commonly deficency..

Oh oops lol. I saw some pictures of mbd and I thought it had to do with swollen eyes. Thanks for clarification. I'm trying to get pics up right now

The pus is definitely a sign of an infection! little cami needs some antibiotics asap

If you cant get to a vet right a way try to go to your local feed store and get terramycin eye ointment for poulty and live stock it will help fight the infection. I use it on chams with small issues or many be a small scratch or cut.
