Is that dried moss all over the cage walls inside? I wonder if she could have a bit of it in the eye?

I would recommend having it checked out by a vet.

As for the egglaying bin...as @Chameleoking said....it needs to be in the cage at all times.

it’s coconut fibre, but i can definitely see that being the case. she’s been trying to climb the walls lately

Hi there. looks like you are using the exo terra jungle vines. They are the black ones. They are known for pieces coming off of them. How does she react to misting? Typically a longer misting can help them clear the eye. If she is not fond of water then this requires a vet appointment most of the time.

Food intake is a little high for her. Daytime humidity is 30-50%... Really want to be misting more like 2-3 times a day for 2-4 minutes depending on your environment. This would and should be done mourning and evening when the cage is not too warm.

D3 should rotate 1 feeding a week with the vitamin. So each are given 2 times a month then you want to do plain calcium without d3 at all other feedings.

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are you geographically located?

she is a 2 year old female veiled, i’ve had her since she was around 5 months. i handle her pretty regularly but not every day. i feed her either 6 dubias or crickets every other day, dusting with calcium without d3 every day and calcium with d3 every 2 weeks. i spray her cage a couple times a day and she has a monsoon solo misting system. her feces is normal looking and about 1-2 times a week. her cage is mostly made out of wood with a screen door and top. she has a 5.0 linear uvb, 60watt heat lamp, and plant grow light. her cage is about 80° in her basking spot, and about 75 at the bottom. i have several live plants- pothos, ivy, monstera, ficus, etc. her cage is in my room, so not much traffic most of the day.

So not really enough info for me to get a clear idea of husbandry.

But just from the image of the cage. Few issues going on. Lighting should really all be mounted outside the cage on the top. Reason for this is they can not get too close to them to get burned. LED lighting has a lower burn risk but the issue is actually the fact that you have the T5HO fixture with a 5.0 bulb? Hopefully it is a T5HO fixture if it is a T8 then she is getting no uvb lighting at all at that distance. But with the T5HO fixture and a 5.0 going through screen you want 8-9 inches to the branch below the fixture. This is the area of UVB they need. You can use a 10.0 bulb if you need to get the UVB farther down and that would work for a branch 11-12 inches down. So it is all in your measurements.

It also looks to be a homemade cage, in which cage, depending on the type of screen you used changes the distances. The best way to get the proper UVI levels is to invest in a Solarmeter 6.5 so everything can be precisely measured and adjusted
