This is my first post, but I have been a member for about a year. My veiled cham, Rango, is about 1 1/2 yrs old, and has always seemed very healthy. He has recently developed a small lump on his cheek, and I'm hoping to get some insight as to what it might be. He is acting as normal as ever, eating crickets and mealworms, and drinking from the dripper (styrofoam cup on top of the cage and water from the spray bottle at least twice per day). I use carrots and the Flukers water gel stuff with calcium as my gutload. He is active, still opens his mouth just fine, and his stool and urine are regular. He is in a 2x2x4 mesh cage, with a shower curtain around half of the cage to help with humidity. The only thing I've struggled with is keeping the humidity high within the mesh cage.
This lump doesn't seem to bother him one bit, but I want to be cautious that it isn't something bad. I have attached two pictures of his head. The lump is on his left cheek, just behind his mouth opening. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
