Swollen ankles

Hello everyone I’m new to the world of chameleons. My son decided to buy a veiled chameleon without researching anything about them the store told him that we have a juvenile male veiled chameleon. My son named him Rango but I’m the one who pretty much takes care of him. Yesterday I noticed his back 2 ankles look a little bit swollen, I was wondering if I should be worried or what it could be. Thank you everyone

its might be like what my chameleon had, its a genetics thing in their dna that basically gives them these bump thingys making it hard for them to climb, if you could send pictures that would be great but im not 100% sure it is, thats my guess but im not a specialist so dont listen to me to much, if that is what it is you should get that checked out at the vet. Make sure you listen to what other people say so though because like i said im not a pro.

ohhhh those bumps? those are tarsul spurs used for grabbing on to females for mating, its completley natural, if thats not what your talking about im not sure

i really wanna help out so people dont end up like me:) my chameleon died of egg binding which happens when they try pushing eggs out but fail and it was named rango to, itdied at a young age and i was insanely sad. Now im helping people out the best i can 😁

Hi! Welcome!! You should add more plants.. you wanna not be able find him at first glance and they keep up the hydration.... pothos plants are a great plant! And he’s adorable 😍
You should look up Neptune The Chameleon on utube! She’s amazing and has a lot of great tips!
