switiching to roaches

I am finally going to try to switch my 10 month old panther and 4 month old veiled to roaches - I just hate the cricket stink with all my being (and I clean the little bastards every three or four days)

Is there anything I should know about switching them? Is there a way to make the new bugs more enticing? I've introduced various worms into their diet but worms just sort of lay there compared to roaches . . .

Thanks for your help!

They are hard to switch haha if they eat from your hand then put the roaches (dubias) on their backs in your hand and they will squirm giving them an interest. Only real advice I can give.

Well first no switching... Adding is much better. Roaches are great and your Cham will love them, sometimes they can be stubborn I was always told put them in a feed cup with crickets to start. Make sure your Cham is getting as many healthy feeders as you can so he gets a variety. :) good luck and have fun.

I agree add them but don't cancel crickets all together. But make dubias a staple. Dubias are a lot better with a meat to shell percentage of 35% and crickets 17%.
Also I've had a colony for a few months now and have had zero luck on getting him to try one! so if ya figure It out ket me know :)
