Switching older cham to dubias?

Hello, this is my second topic on this forum and I have another quick question...

I adopted a chameleon about two days ago who has been fed a staple of crickets for the past two years. Her previous owner apparently just bought them from the pet store and did not gut load them but did shake them in supplement before giving them to her. I've been reading a ton both before and after getting her, and it seems like switching her to roaches is in her best interest. My main concern is that if she has been eating just crickets for this long, is it still okay to switch her? I want to test them out to see if she will even like them first, but if she does, I just wanted to make sure that it's okay to change her staple since she's already used to one thing. Thank you!

I've been wanting to switch to dubias, too. But it's kind of hard to get them in Florida.. haha. I say just try to feed some and if they aren't eaten then you're going to have to stick with crickets.
