Swinging

So, I found out that my 4.5 month old panther chameleon likes to swing I think.

I have a dripper at the top of my cage with a black hose that hangs down right above the plant. Ive seen him do this a couple times...He reaches for the black hose and holds on and lets go and swings....Its sturdy, Only way I see him hurting himself is if he lets go...Should I allow him to do this? Or should I tie the black hose down to a branch...? Hes done this a couple of times...

Maybe he likes to swing :O? lol

What an odd behavior.
Care to put it on video?
Perhaps, a picture of your enclosure as well..
could be that you did not give him enough branch to roam?? idk...

I could / will try and get a video of him doing it...lol

But here is a couple of pics of his cage, He reaches from the middle flexable vine and reaches to the black hose..

Looks like he is trying to get to the highest spot, which is the drip tube. Try putting a higher branch in away from the heat. It will be his new hang out.
