Just wanted to share a few new photos of my little Monty! He had really started to take an interest in other food items now which I am so pleased about. In fact, he has gained a whole gram in weight in the last two weeks alone! The 'big' little dinosaur now weighs a hefty 3.6g!!! He still only shows his greens when he's out of his viv though, but I hope this will change after his next shed, which must be imminent after the weight he's gained! He last shed on 1st November. Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Thanks, Justin! I hatched some silkworms for him and he loves them plus he's eating between 6 and 9 crickets every day as well as fruit flies now!

So he's definitely looking to be male then? I was beginning to wonder after the other baby Jackson thread! I keep forgetting that Monty is still only 14 weeks old - it seems like I've always had him! I have to keep reminding myself that I got him quite young because my friend trusted that I would take good and proper care of him. His clutch mates are only only just starting to be rehomed now whereas I've had him for 7 weeks already!

I think the only think cuter in the world in my Rah, and that is very, very close. Monty is just so completely perfect & he lets you take pictures!! That part isn't really fair. But Rah is coning up to his free range for a bit so I will see if he still hates my phone, if so maybe I will try my camera!! Monty has the cute photo's won without a doubt. You got him early because there was never any doubt about how you would care for him & it shows. Good job with him, Tiff.

Thanks! He only shows those greens when I get him out though! He is the more typical brown of baby Xanths when he's in his viv, although he does go lighter occasionally - he saves his greens for the camera! Really hoping he will shed again soon!

Thank you ladies! You will see the changes better than me since I see him every day and don't notice them. I am planning to take pics once a month to chart his progress. I will certainly be posting more pictures as I love taking them and sharing them! I love watching baby chams mature on the forums, and I'm so glad I can share Monty's growth with everyone!
