Thanks to modern DNA analysis, the same Swedish team behind the color change study this year has also released and published it's findings showing that there are multiple species of F. Pardalis (Panther chameleons)
You're looking at up to 11 different groups depending on how you look at it all. Although this may be just split into 3 or 4... I'm still reading and digesting the article... but I wanted to get this up for people to read.
