swapping out furniture

Right now I have nothing but fake plants in my enclosure. I want add a couple small ficus to the enclosure but it will take some rearranging.

Where do I put the chameleon when I'm doing this? My baby veiled just arrived yesterday and I don't want to stress him out. Should I wait a while to change the enclosure around since he hasn't really had time to get acclimated this?

I guess right now it's fine but I want to get my humidity up a little. I average about 50-55% right now and when the habba mister goes off it doesn't really jump up.

My humidity gauge is the ZooMed analog version, I'm getting the digital it's just not here yet.

Try having him on a plant thaking that plant out with him on it, getting the cage set up and hold the plant he is on inthe cage but lower than the plants in the cage. If that doesn't work just pick him up and move him, he will be ok.

He's good, I think.

When i'm around he doesn't really do anything but stare at me, and I think he actually ate yesterday. I was about to go and take the crickets out before lights out and they were all gone and he was looking suspicious in front of the feeder ;)

I would have to add a plant for him to get on, right now i just have vine wrapped branches so they couldn't stand on they're own, i would have to prop them up somehow.

Well I added in one of the ficus plants we bought. I did the whole replanting and rinsing, even added rinsed stones the to top.

He did not like the rearrangement. At first he ran up the to ceiling of the enclosure and I quickly put the ficus in and took out one of the original branches. I didn't want him to feel cornered so i gently put my hand up to him and he climbed on only to give me a cute little hiss. I moved my hand down and he climbed right up the plant.

I still have to create a drainage system but that's for another day. I want to leave him alone for now.
