Swallon Eye Panther chameleon

Hello,

I have a panther chameleon who is about 3 years old. Last night his eye became swallon and I called the vet immediately the next day to get an appointment. However being in a small town we have only one exotic vet and they don't work everyday. I have an appointment for Saturday. Hoping I can get some help on this. I came home and it has gotten much worse.... The last week or so he has became lethargic and eating less. He has also developed a weird cough/wheeze...We switched his water habits from an electronic mister to a dripper. He was getting use to it and drinking and now he isn't drinking. We also feed him superworms which I haven't seen him eat in over a week. Please let me know what else I need to post. He is in a large cage with a ficus tree and branches. He has two uv lights and a heat lamp that hangs from the ceiling. He has had some skin issues in the past from thermal burns which he had when we bought him....Thank you

Oh my God that is swollen eye! Me advice feed him like usual do the usual in till the vet day comes and then give him the meds (sorry I cant help much but I can help by motivating) Hope he comes out fine :)

That eye is filled up with puss and gunk once you wipe that dried crust off it shold squirt out and look better then you can rinse it out

I don't see any dried crust on the left eye. I don't think anyone can say that the eye is full of pus and gunk by looking at it. This type of swelling can be caused by a number of things including cancer, infection, possible sinus infection, etc. Only a visit to the vet and testing can tell you for sure what it is IMHO.

How do you know that for sure? You cannot see that from the pictures that were posted.
I don't know that for sure but most times an eye that is that swollen it is filled with fluid. I have had some eye issues with mine own chameleon and help a few others with theirs.
