Interesting that this should affect the mouth and tongue. Guess it might need to be added to the list of possible reasons why there can be a lack of tongues shooting out in chameleons...

A good way to add selenium is with Brazil nuts, but they are so high in selenium that too many could lead to toxicity, even in people. To give you an idea, a person shouldn't eat more than like 2-3 brazil nuts a day. So if you make a big batch of gutload(several weeks/couple months worth) maybe only use 1 nut. Much less for smaller batches.
