Hey everyone!
I have seen some of this cockroaches in my yard:

They dont seem to be a plague... they just appear in the backyard wall when it rains a lot and its all flooded up...
Im not quite sure if they are exactly "surinam cockroaches", but I've been looking around the internet, and they look just like the one above, and acts just as descrived on internet...

Do you guys know If its safe if I capture them, breed them, raise the newborns and use them as feeder?

thanks a lot!

Are you in FL? Surinam roaches are fine to breed and use as feeders (no WCs as feeders though!) I actually raise them myself, but I don't live where they are wild. They like a nice deep substrate to burrow in. They can also climb glass/plastic so use olive oil as a barrier.

Great!
I live in North of Mexico..
I will capture them and try to breed them...
What do they eat?
