Supplements for Jackson's

I am getting a baby Jackson's this weekend :D
I've been reading up on supplements but it seems like everything I read is for care on Panthers and Veileds. Are the supplements different for Jackson's?

Thanks

I've had Meru's more than Jackson's...and I've had other so-called Montane type chameleons and I give them all phos.-free calcium at most feedings, phos.-free calcium/D3 twice a month lightly dusted on the crickets and a vitamin powder with a beta carotene source of vitamin A twice a month and they seem to do okay with that.

That is what I have been reading that most people are giving their panthers and veileds. If it works for you I'm sure it will work for me. Thanks

So I was reading another post that said not to give the jackson's (montane species) as much supplmentation as the others. Can somebody confirm this?

Some people have suggested more, but I personally only give my Jacksons calcium with D3 only every 6 weeks (keep in mind, it is a very healthy thick dusting) and calcium with no D3 once or twice a week. Rather than supercharged supplementation, focus on a variety of feeders if possible and a GOOD gutload regimine. Do a search on the web for 'Montane gutload'. Idid this and I make my own based on what I've found researching. Sandrachameleon here on the forum has some very useful blogs pertaining to nutrition and gutload recipes.

Thank you JDOG! I think I will go with your recommendation :)
I can't wait to get my new little guy!
