Supplementing for Hoehnellis

How do you Hoehnelli keepers supplement their food? How often do you use plain calcium, calcium with D3 and multivits? Could you tell me the products you use eg type of calcium, Reptivite without D3 or with D3, Nutrobol, Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All, Vit-All etc and how often you use them please. I hope this makes sense.

Also, would you supplement babies different to the adults? I am curious to see what everyone else does. Thank you. :)

I use repashy calcium all in one.

I honestly, dont use it that much on them. maybe once a week, if that.

Not many then lol. And you are the only one who has replied to my thread. :)

I dont personally have experience with them, but I would treat them like i do my other montanes(very little supps). With a well made gutload it should be minimal.
Repashy Ca+- 1x a week, approx the amount of the size of a matchhead.
Or
calcium no d3- 1-2x weekly
Multi vitamin- 1x every 6-8 weeks
Calcium+D3- 1x a month (or less if theyre getting a fair amount of natural sun)
I will contact showjet to find out exactly what he does.

Edit: I would NOT supplement babies with the same schedule, this is where your gutload and natural sunlight should play a key role. Montanes are already easily susceptible to over-supplementation, tiny babies would be even more susceptible imo...

Thanks, and I would appreciate it if you could contact showjet too.

With regards to the babies, we're talking about the UK here and good natural sunlight is lacking a lot of the time. :( I also keep my Hoes inside . Gutloading their diet is also tricky. Their diet consists of mainly fruit flies although they do get micro crickets daily too. I do not know how the fruit flies can be gutloaded any more than leaving a slice of apple or butternut squash etc in the cage so that they have something to eat. I use one of sandrachameleons dry gutloading recipes for all my insects alongside a wet gutload.
