Supplementation Advice

I was planning on getting my first panther chameleon and these forums have been a great resource as I’ve been doing months of research in preparation. Before I purchase any supplements I wanted to check with you guys and get feedback on the brands I plan on purchasing. I would appreciate any insight or recommendations you can give.

For calcium without D3 – Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All Outdoor (at most feedings)
For calcium with D3 – Rep-Cal Calcium Powder with D3 (every other week, twice a month)
For multivitamin – Rep-Cal Herptivite (every other week, twice a month)

Would these brands be appropriate supplementation for a panther chameleon? Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give!

Hi there welcome to the forum. Depending where you live the sticky Tongue outdoor is for chams that spend most of the time outside. They do do one for indoor. I use the other two and a plain calcium daily. Popeye doesn't go outside very much due to weather in Scotland.

My chameleon will be in an indoor set-up. However, I was under the impression that I should use the outdoor version of the sticky tongue farms brand on a regular basis as it does not contain any D3. If you don't mind my asking, what brand do you recommend for your daily plain calcium? Thanks for the advice! I want to make sure I order the correct necessary supplements.

I've used the Miner-All with and without D3 for like 15 years. Without D3 daily and with D3 a couple of times a month.

Yes, this will work fine. I used essentially that same schedule for many years. you can tweak it a bit as you learn, and depending on the type of prey you offer. but what you list is a fine place to start

An alternative is the Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All Outdoor most feedings, with Repashy Calcium Plus used once a week
