1) What exactly is a superworm as opposed to a hornworm/silkworm? Are they like mealworms?

2) can they be used alongside crickets and isopods as a common feeder, or are they only an occasional snack?

Extra question:

Are mealworms frowned upon because their hard outer shell causing disgestion issues sometimes?

Superworms look just like mealworms but they are way bigger...
They are high in fat, so you are supposed to use them as a treat.
I usually give one every 3 days or so....
They are good, and chams love them, just avoid giving one everyday.

A Superworm is basically a mealworm on crack! Lol they are about 4 times as big as a Superworm. They can be fed every other day just like with crickets. :) their awesome at bringing out the fat pads in a Cham too! I love feeding Superworms and my chams love em too! I have chams from 3 months old to 4 years old and they can all eat them very well. :)

Okay well my chameleon is a bit on the skinny side :)() so I will try and find superworms. My father doesn't like having things mailed to his house but I will see if I can get some. :) I will try and try!

Hopefully it won't bring about any hunger strikes..

Anyone know the calcium content in them?
