so i was on a site looking to buy some butter worms and phoenix worms and it had this diagram and according to the information showed.. meal worms are 'healthier' than superworms.. mealworms had less fat and a tad more nutrition.. so why are mealworms not suggested as a treat but super worms are? i used to only feed my veiled chameleon mealworms .. for about 2 months then i started feeding it crickets.. it's 4 months old..

mealworms are okay, when gutloaded, calcium dusted, and used in moderation. If they form too large a part of the cham diet, they might contribute to impaction issues. The amount of chinton compared to easily digestable bits is higher in mealies than supers.

both are great as treats, or even as a regular but minor part of its normal diet
