Superworm Syndrome?

My chameleon has what some fellow forumers classified as "superworm syndrome". Once I fed superworms he wouldn't eat crickets. This happened a while back and I was able to get him to eat again but now he is refusing to eat crickets again. I've been waiting a couple days without feeding superworms and he is still neglecting and crickets in his cage or hand fed. Should I give in and feed him superworms? How long should I wait? Should I try a new feeder? If so which?

Don't give in. My cham loves supers but I only give him one or two 2-3 days a week. Just hold your ground and he will start eating crickets.

Roaches, mantis, walking sticks, moths, butterflies, bumblebees (minus the stinger), phoenix worm, silkworms, hornworms, or locusts. Any will do. You need to break the cycle. It really is a health issue to correct this. Obviously, if he becomes emaciated you will have to give in. But until then, try everything else. Things that fly or are fast usually help.
