I just wanted to know if super worms were okay for a Juvenile (4-5 months) Jackson chameleon, and if so, what should I be feeding the super worms to gut load them?

Awesome, Thank you. Do you have any advice on getting your chameleon off of a worm addiction? lol. My first mistake as an owner of a Jackson Chameleon was feeding him silk worms for the first week of having him.if they are small enough. But feed them sparingly as treats cause chameleons tend to prefer them over crickets and will go on hunger strikes if they are not fed them. I keep mine in a container of oats and gutload them like crickets with fruits and vegetables.
Nice technique! I'll have try that one. Make him work for that worm lol. How many crickets should a Juvenile be eating?haha! I gave you that advice because I too have a cham with a superworm addiction!!!. Some people will basically hold out on their chameleon until they get hungry enough to get them to eat crickets or whatever feeder they gave up. I never did that, but what I do is put a bunch of crickets in a cup with one superworm or the worm they prefer. The odds are he is going to eat a cricket mixed in with the worm! It is hard for them to single out the worm. I also give mine a super and then when he is chomping on that I slip a cricket or two in his mouth! Just be careful he does not get your fingers instead!!
