Super Worm Question

Hello All,

I plan on ordering some superworms and was wondering about the following:

Is Quaker Instant Oats alone sufficient bedding for Super Worms? (along with cricket crack and fresh vegetables for food)

Do the Super Worms actually consume the bedding or is it just a medium for them to live in?

How fast do they grow?

How many could I keep in a 20 gallon aquarium?

Should I use water crystals for moisture?

How often do I need to feed them to prevent them from eating each other?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

i use instant oats as do alot of people. they work great and are cheap!
yes they consume the bedding
their growth depends on the temperature you keep them if its cooler they will grow slower warmer they will grow faster
depends how deep you make the bedding and what other foods you have in there you can keep 1000+ probably (not completely sure i keep mine in a 3 shelf organizer from walmart)
they do not need water crystals if you put them in there the oats will mold and it can kill everything
if you leave food in there at all times they will be fine you can put potatos, carrots, and other fruits and veggies.

I use old fashoned oats ground up and wheat bran ground up, I get the organic flakes from walmart. I also throw in carrots, collared greens and kale for them to eat alnd also provides hydration.
