What is the ideal time and method of letting a baby panther chameleon sun bathe

early morning or afternoon, on a nice thick plant, with a alot of shade, maybe in a cage
temps should be between 68-80's, weather should be sunny, but if its hot, then mist accordingly and provide more shade, also the thicker the plant the better to have cooler temps, like a ficus
never let your cham overheat or be outside without supervision....been there at it sucks
